Original Equipment Limited understands the importance
of environmental protection and is committed to operating its
business responsibly and in compliance with all environmental
regulations, legislation and approved codes of practice relating
to the manufacture of its products.
It is Company policy to carry out all practicable
measures to meet or exceed the requirements and to continually
improve environmental performance in the following ways:
- Regular assessment of the environmental effects of the Company’s
activities.
- Regular assessment of the Company’s environmental objectives.
- Training of all employees and management in environmental
issues.
- Adoption of production methods that minimise the production
of:
- Material waste.
- Energy waste.
- Packaging waste.
- Promotion and use of recyclable materials wherever possible.
Reduction and where possible, elimination of the production of
pollutants of all kinds.
All employees, suppliers and sub contractors are issued with a copy of the Environmental
Policy and it is made available to the public via the web site.
